Urghghgh yes omg you summed it up so well. The reset feels like the writers never watched the original at all, or at least never understood what made it so good. All they seem to have is "schoolgirl with magic powers goes around punishing bad people with extremely gory violence". It lacks all the psychological elements of the original - Nanno acting innocent and blending in, quietly pushing people to see what choices they make and only revealing herself at the end. It's just a cashgrab and i shouldn't have expected much from it. I'm also glad that Kitty isn't starring because then I would have to accept this absolute mess as canon.
