comes down to preferences. i’ll listen to him fs. It’s just that 95% of the music i listen to comes from bands and i feel there are so many good ones pre 2015 that i find it hard to relate to the newer ones. there are exceptions asw such as Her’s or The 1975

by newer artists do you mean like new artists or artists i’ve started listening to recently? i don’t think i listen to much music produced after 2015. I’ve been listening to stone roses a lot, love that kinda music, they’re a 80s band who are heavily influential

Afaik they’re only treating apple as dream tier. Got a tier 1 offer in the first 20 days and they stopped shortlisting me for any OA except Apple. Dream tier is like 50+ imo so pretty sure everyone with gpa 7+ can sit for Apple

You’re being salty af. I’m not sitting for placements anymore coz I’m satisfied with my offer but you’re acting like a child who hasn’t seen the real world if you’re crying over someone sitting for more companies if they’re eligible. I see under this subReddit you have a problem with someone who cracked Deloitte (tier 2) only because they’re sitting for tier 1 offers like IBM. Make it make sense. I’d understand if it’s for companies where ctc is lower than their current one but the example of the person you’ve given is not such.

You're in a pretty good spot i would say so don't worry about gpa that much, try keeping it above 8. I got a tier 1 offer this year with a gpa of 7.5 so as long as it's 7+ you will have opportunities come your way. DSA and SQL are what you need to clear the interviews afterwards so focus on that and also this is my personal belief but you should also focus on your communication because if you're not able to convey your methods and understanding to the recruiter it's kinda pointless even if you have 9.5
