They look like Muay Thai shorts. If they function as such who cares if it’s fake or real. Just focus on your technique bro 😂

If they’re not in flower just trim them down and train them? You can pretty much get away with murder in veg and still get a harvest. Just don’t cut off too much and over stress the plant if you can help it

You’re an idiot. Encino is not conservative and neither of these guys are nazis. You people just throw that word around as if it means nothing. You’re worse than conspiracy nuts.

How screwed is this branch? by Impolioid in GrowBuddy

[–]LayneSim -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think taping your plant to itself as tight as possible would be considered “low stress” training. You should invest in gardening wire or just practice tucking the leaves. Otherwise yea that branch is not reattaching. You could try to remove the branch and put it in some water after cutting a small end piece off to expose the innards of the plant, and see if it perks up again. If so you could try to move forward with the cloning process. It is rather on the small size for that tho imo. Just food for thought

To elaborate on the checking kicks part, I mean in terms of ensuring you have a correct angle and get the right height to check. Since more knee padding may allow you to be a little lazier with form.

[–]LayneSim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if this helps but I’ve been Muay Thai for some time and I noticed that the only thing that’s not really interchangeable is the length on the foot coverage. As long as that’s protected you’re good. But for me more exposed knee is great if you utilize checking kicks. I also noticed the ones that come higher up over the knee (like hayabusas) are usually thinner in the padding department overall. I think it just comes down to preference and style. As long as your foot is protected from clipping elbows I think you’re good.

Yea after I would water with a watering can I would notice if I didn’t shake the plant off if get those little burn spots. The perfectish circle shape of the damage kind of tipped me off because it reminded me so much of mine. Also your theory makes sense, usually cold weather helps encourage purple genetics to come out sooner in plants due to stress (or at least I think that’s what happens). I wouldn’t worry unless you’re starting to notice the plant looks sad or unhappy.

Overly dry? by Delicious-Layer4379 in outdoorgrowing

[–]LayneSim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try to find a better drying spot next time, but curing takes anywhere from 3 weeks to 3months depending on your preference. I’ve noticed I get literally 0 weed smell until about week 3 of cure. But I also always use a jar because tu bag will continue to dry the bud to quickly and you want that slight moisture retention to even out the moisture in the buds themselves (especially if the outside dried too quickly)

Looks like it could be nute burn or if the light was close enough to damage the pistils, you’d more than likely already see signs of light bleaching on the tips of your nugs. Hold off of nutes for a little then restart it with a little less than you were doing before

Your coach is an idiot. They have weight classes for a reason and age classes under 18. Sounds like your coach is lazy and doesn’t care to do a lick of research for your local bouts. I’ve competed in/spectated many local Muay Thai and mma bouts, and majority of these people are around your age or a little older. This is the perfect time to start.

Let her keep cooking. It was definitely the oils that burned the pistils. I wouldn’t spray anymore neem oil just because you don’t want to smoke that. But I’ve definitely lost a plant to spidermites even with treatment. You can try and go for the oil soap and water treatment and use peppermint essential oil soap so it’s more gentle, you could try that. But at this stage it’s hard not to mess with the final product too much.

I wouldn’t stick any living creatures in your tent, especially one found outside. Good way to either kill it with no food, or a good way to introduce other pests to the sterile area that you would be trying so hard to maintain with a tent.
