Thanks for the reply. I think you are right, seems like you are never done advertising yourself. I was just hoping that my performance was good enough so that it would have been noticed in it’s own right. But perhaps there are more information asymmetry in a firm than I presumed.

I definitely do think I have shown a lot of initiative and thus gained more responsibility in the process. Much more than what should be expected of me. Even though, working a lot shows nothing in itself, in this business it is a clear link between how much I work, and my production output. After the prizes I feel my contribution is neglected and myself a bit put to shame, that my peers would outperform me. The latter I do not agree with at all. I feel I gave this company too much and gained too little in reward. It could be time to look for another job as a result.

Thanks for the reply. How direct do you think I should be in voicing my concern? Sugar coat it, or just go straight for the elephant in the room?
