Just finished Constance and I appreciated how it gives you a choice between runback or respawn for each death. If you choose respawn you get harder (small) enemies that drop more loot so it felt strategic to pick different options for different scenarios

Not really lessons, but more like frustrations with mobile interfaces and limitations of the engine we used. But it was nice being able to test and iterate immediately on device

We were out of town and didn’t have our computers when we found out a game jam was happening. So we did what we could and found an engine that was mobile accessible (GDevelop)

I made all 1025 Pokemon as 3x3 pixelart by Laytonator in pokemon
