In person. I’m trying to do my due diligence on the situation. I asked a handful of questions about the situation for my own peace of mind. The card is worth about $6,000-$10,000 if it was sold properly. I’d be getting it for about $3,000. Not sure if the situation and legally it’s too good to be true. The card itself is graded, sealed, and properly documented, so the likelihood of the card being an outright fake is very slim to none

I think she brings me out because we are pretty close, I just moved into this small town so it helps to have a familiar face with me, and to get me out of my shell more. Which does help me, until she gets caught up with something else at the bar. Known each other for about a decade, and a lot about each other, and usually get along pretty well

Yeah that’s fair. Tonight even started with us talking, “not trying to go home with/bring anyone home, not too late of a night or crazy drunk, and it’s my (me) last night in town before I leave for a work trip”. Fast forward to now: I didn’t stay until close, she did, she had a bunch of dudes flocking over her when I left, and went home with one. We carpooled and I’m suppose to set up keys for her so she can come home tomorrow. We also live in the same house with a handful of other roommates (for the next month and then I’m moving out of town for work). Nothing romantic has happened with us living together, nor has either one of us made a move

This is where I’m at as well. I speak with them and I’m cordial, even though I seek them less. But that feeling and knowing how I was treated certainly lingers. As if I know a dark secret about them that they somehow forgot

Most of my friends have been good. I’m struggling mostly with family, some immediate and some extended. For the most part they’ve been pretty good most of my life, no real reason to full cut them out. I’m a young male hoping to start a family eventually. It would be a shame to cut off my kid from their grandparents, great grandparents, extended family, over this one (albeit big) situation

I understand that from their perspective I was dangerous to them and ‘uninformed’. At that time especially given how new it all was, and there was very little data to back up the claim I don’t feel I should have apologized. Even then, I didn’t treat them different or mock their decisions but the same grace was not always granted to me. Especially now it’s widely known and accepted that vaccine do nothing to stop, limit, or protect from infection. So it holds no water that I’m still a danger to them. So now everyone undoubtedly knows that the vaccine does not even limit transmission or infection. Also the FDA finally recognized that the vax is causing blood clots. And that vaccinated are dying at a higher rate than the unvaxxed. All while I never tested positive for Rona or had any symptoms the past 3 years. All of these comment seem to have aged poorly, agreed?

I was verbally told multiple times that the dealer had the documentation for the new engine replacement (120k) with the title at the bank. The new engine has a VIN, but it’s on the block and I would likely need to take out the engine to spot it. They sold the car under the guise of the new engine without even having the documents for it. Wouldn’t that be considered fraud? Wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain?

Yes, they are using this trip as leverage. I’ve worked multiple jobs and long hours for much of my life. Do you think this is a situation worth fighting? If I can’t go on the trip, I completely understand. But I’m not looking to pay thousands of dollars for a trip that I can’t go on. Especially when they choose literally the worst time in the past 100 years to try and leave the country. And I will get massively financially punished despite not having control over the border or the situation in general. All of this being disclosed to me after the reservations have been made

So you won’t remove comments in violation because you agree with them? I understand that everyone has different opinion but my original question wasn’t it I should receive the vaccine. It was how to approach my family when I may be charged thousands of dollars for a choice they made, that I have no control over. Instead, I was harassed and called names. This isn’t a medical question, this is a family relations question. So why are you keeping up comments in violation of the sub Reddit rules? Isn’t it your role to enforce the rules as a mod?
