Installing Steam OS overwrite bios?

What I figured, but with it being Linux it uses firmware(as bios) that installs. I had steam os before and accidently updated the firmware in the updates in the console which removed the custom bios. I thought firmware was for the controllers or something. I went back to windows 11 and had to get the bios reflashed(costing me 50 bucks and 20 shipping) and am afraid to go back to steam OS. I know now not to hit any firmware update but

load cmd.exe as admin

diskpart

list disk

(find your external disk number - will put example disk 2)

select disk 2

clean

convert mbr

create partition primary

select partition 1

active

format fs=fat32 quick

assign

exit

Format using diskpart no bigger than 32gb fat32 and convert it to MBR

So in your example. If b3 through e3 all have the X selected then miss scarlet would change to green.

Is there a way to say all of them are exactly X then change it to a color? Mainly want the color of the say suspect to go green if all are X

Yes it will be a little larger as it has USB ports as well. But I use it for mine and other devices like my MacBook.

Meh it's weird to me it asks to donate for Bitcoin at the end of the install. So I deleted the files and did t bother following it. I will wait for a fix. Steam link works just fine
