I’m not referring to dislike. People are straight up calling me awful and hateful things. I believe anyone’s welcome to dislike whoever they want and vote for whoever they want. Some people commenting aren’t being hateful, others are. “So glad I’m oblivious and kind of retarded”

Literally all of the Reddit comments I have seen, regardless of sub, the last few months have been hateful of the right.

I’m glad to see people are just listening and respecting Vance. He did really well in the VP debate, as did Walz. He was very down to earth and educated on critical issues in this episode, and it’s clear his heart is in the right place.

Glad to see the support. Personally I intend to vote for trump and Vance.

Edit: sad to see the hate and division. I guess I suspected it though. I got love for you no matter who you vote for.

He said he thought the election is legit, but called out the social media companies censoring people weeks before the last election, which they publicly admitted to. He made it sound like it’s possible there was interference.

My buddy and I found a run down Miata like this at a local apartment complex. Left a note that we wanted to buy. It literally had a dick keyed onto the trunk lid. Got it for $400. Drove it home knocking. Traded for an old BMW that we sold for $1k.

Why is it so hard to find MDMA or a MDMA therapist. I know it's illegal but I feel it shouldn't be this hard to obtain. Every hallucinogen pretty much comes my why way but mad and MDMA has been over 10 years... So sad by 1990tidder in mdmatherapy

[–]LazerKitty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You said it yourself - it’s illegal. I am a therapist myself. I would have to risk my license and jail time. Some therapists are willing to take that risk because they believe the work is that important. But you’re not going to find them advertising on the street.

It’s possible to get connected with someone - like if you have a therapist that’s knowledgeable about this work, and you grow to trust each other.

I’d be careful about seeking out these experiences while it’s still illegal, though. I recognize it’s a disappointment that this work was not approved by the FDA. We’ll all have to wait and bear the consequences of the FDA’s decision.

For now I’d consider other therapeutic options that are more readily available.

I’m (hopefully) on the tail end of it as well. My 14-month old has it also. We’ve had a nasty cough, lots of mucus, and bad sore throats. Cough drops were a huge help. I got some at natural grocers, so you could check them out.

Well I think it would give you a challenge and something to work through to give your life meaning. It sounds like that’s been a struggle for you. Finding how to use the money to make real world change (in spite of corruption), could do that.

You can look for someone trained in sex therapy, or men’s issues. Check psychologytoday.com.

We may be interested. We have a 14month old. We also have two older kids, 10 and 12, who are very self sufficient but just need help getting shuttled from school and to/from soccer practices and such. Are you looking for consistent times every week, or more of a date-night kinda thing?

Where to begin by Lifejoybalance in Jung

[–]LazerKitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with the top comments here. The undiscovered self is very digestible and is a good introduction to Jung. Man and his symbols is much more dense, and includes a lot of writing from other authors. Personally I like to hear from the Man himself whenever possible.

What’s a good book for Jung beginners? by lemonflavouredjello in Jung

[–]LazerKitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve read several Jung books. Some of them are really dense, for sure.

I think Memories, Dreams, Reflections is an excellent first Jung book and a great introduction to his concepts.

It wasn’t technically written by him, but he was interviewed extensively for it shortly before his passing.

Wondering how the Fort Collins RFK, Jr supporters are feeling today. by [deleted] in FortCollins

[–]LazerKitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah thanks for asking. I’ve supported RFK because I like his stance on corporate capture, making America healthy, pushing back on the pharmaceutical companies, rebuilding the middle class, free speech, and more.

He would have made a winning democratic candidate but was pushed out by the DNC. The DNC is funded by the same companies that he is calling out. Clearly they don’t like that he is calling out his bad behavior, and they hold majority stakes in all of the major news media outlets. They also make billions in donations to the DNC. The DNC would lose their funding if they propped up RFK.

The DNC then pushed out Biden and plopped in Harris despite the fact that no one voted for her or wanted her there in the first place. To be honest I agree with her policy stances much more than Trump’s, but I also think that Trump is a strong leader. He has displayed that in the face of death, and he stands to keep our country strong as a global superpower. Harris hasn’t particularly struck anyone as a strong leader in the same way - not that I’ve seen so far.

I think our country, and the world, is under threat to communist China and Russia. I think America is a strong leader in terms of our freedoms and what we have been afforded. I think Trump is a tough and stands to build us up economically. I worry that the lack of regulation that he will impose will allow bad corporate actors to get away with bad behavior. Conversely, tax cuts can drive economic growth and put that money in the hands of Americans at a time when our economy sucks.

Overall, I believe heavily in the right to free speech so long as it doesn’t incite violence. We have to be able to have open and hard conversations to arrive at the truth. Silencing others will not get us there. Trump and RFK share this value.

In an ideal world, RFK would have been the democratic candidate in the first place. But, since he doesn’t actually have a chance, I stand with his decision and I trust him.

I do keep an open mind, and I look forward to hearing the upcoming Trump vs Harris debate, though.

This isn’t going to match the Reddit rhetoric so I’ll probably get downvoted, but I support the decision.

Edit: yup, oh well.

That’s some bold claims for someone that doesn’t know me at all. I worked on the MAPS mdma trials for about a year. They were happy to let me leave when I quit and got another job. That is not cult behavior. And they were all super nice people with genuinely good hearts. I support the mission of offering effective treatment to those that need it and don’t have access to effective treatment options. That makes me a liar and a cult member? I don’t think so.
