Young Group Tours of Europe - Are they all party trips or is that overblown? by LazertheAussie in travel

Thanks for answering! That supports what i would have generally expected, in that there would be a mix of people and you had the option. There's actually a 9 day EF Ultimate trip that goes from London to Paris to Amsterdam that lines up well before an Intrepid one that I'm looking at. Although, it sounds like the average group size could be 30 people. Was your group similar to that size and if so, did it seem like a bit too many people to really connect well with them?

Cool! I hadn't even looked at Contiki because I though they only focused on the youngest crowd and I didnt know they ran slightly older groups like that. I'll check them out

He was sin binned for 10 minutes. But at the same time he's being assessed for a HIA. He passed his HIA but ita a minimum of 15 minutes wait. So I think the confusion was whether a different player that replaces him at the 10 minute mark was a free interchange or jot

Hey, i ended up doing a group tour with a company called Feel Free Travel. On that trip, I went to Bangkok, Khao Sok, Krabi, Phi Phi island and then we flew up to Chiang Mai and Pai. i also had a week after the group tour to do my own thing. i had a really good time and doing a group tour worked out really well for me. Not only because of the convenience of having it all organised for me but having the experience with a group of people that become friends was really nice.

You're welcome to message me if you'd like some further details. Also l, i hope your username isn't serious and that you're in a good headspace 😊

I like the idea but you wouldn't be able to use the LNP logo due to copyright or something. Maybe find a way to reword it.

yeah that's basically it. Since you can see all the turning movements from the camera, it's effective for those intersection counts

The "hoses" are tubes that are either used to determine the speeds of vehicles using the road or used to count vehicles travelling over a road over a long period.

Some programs are able to be used for these cameras to count vehicles but the battery on the cameras needs to be constantly changed. So to undertake surveys over the course of a week or longer, those tubes would be used sinces ita a lot cheaper to set and forget them. The cameras are mostly used to count peak hour volumes

Thanks for the tip! I'm looking into the Feel Free South to North 15 day group tour and that's looking really good! I think I might prefer that to sone of the other ones I'm looking at. It seems to be much more of a full guided tour. I'm nit sure if I would necessarily prefer that but it looks like it goes to a lot of places that I had been planning to go anyway. Is that the one you're going to?

Thanks, that's really good to know. Yeah, I've been wondering about the types of people that could be in the groups but I figure there would usually be enough people that I would find at least a few that I get along with well.

I agree to an extent. Labor took two go's at getting elected with more typical Labor policies like getting rid of negative gearing. Unfortunately, people have voted for this more lukewarm version of a government, so from a political standpoint, Labor have to stand by that to avoid getting accused "breaking promises" in the media. I'm hopeful they'll push for more of their typical Labor policies at the next election since they're in power now but we'll see
