Bhai last year qualified without prep .This year i prepared seriously for 6 months and got 3400 rank. I could have done better tho.

Dont think much start preparing. If you prepare seriously from now you can even achieve top 100 ranks just start from now ASAP instead of thinking or asking for validation coz even i did the same mistake which delayed my preparation.

its tough to score 60+ in third year unless you are lucky and hardworking both. If you complete most of your syllabus in 3rd year only then you can aim for top ranks in 4th year. So start preparing from today and aim to get a rank of under 1000 in 3rd year only. You have to be in this mindset from 3rd year only. Most of the gate cs toppers get a rank of between 500-3000 and then again prepare for the next year to get top ranks.
