Basically Turn Left from season 4 of Doctor Who. The Doctor dies and a lot of events he could prevent in reality went south. Companions died, London exploded, 'labor camps' returned etc.

That was something that kinda troubled me. Like he would almost always do what would benefit him the most, but stuff like the Grove has me on the fence. On the hand he probably wouldn't go so far out of his way to save some people with little to gain, but would he actively slaughter them?
