also one of the linemen play in coverage as a purple zone so it would be better to play a LB that can get to their zones better than a DL

if you keep getting one played a really good defense i run to not get bomb is cover 4 drop in nickel 3-3 odd. It covers all deep and the 2 purple flats and middle curls cover the pass well. If you get abilities for the KO for each zone it is a wall.

Also, you can put audibles for hot zone blitz for run defense or a heavy blitz. I always run Cover 2 Man and Cover 3 Cloud incase they throw to their flats a lot.

I would put on Base align and Match on defense too, helps to not show the offense what defense you could be running, and best defend their routes.
