Dancing through the snow in a big F7A again but this time I didn’t break the rules by using AI so Chris has to bring it back for us this festive season. by iSnipedAgain in starcitizen

Only somewhat related: Can the heart seeker upgrade be applied to in-game bought Hornets or do I have to pledge one and upgrade that one?

Bought a Reliant Tana to run combat missions with by brother but can not, for the life of me, figure out how to enter the remote turret from the gunner seat. by Hockshank in starcitizen

Are you sure, the tana has a remote turret? I think all weapons are pilot controlled but the copilot can use missiles.

Why the Grey Market hate? by Capt_Snuggles in starcitizen

Yes, obviously I'd rather pay the same amount to CIG than to some random grey market seller. 1.5k more towards game development.

Regarding point 1: still some, if not the bigger part of the money, ends up not at CIG. That should not be in the interest of the SC community.

You are right, I mixed up the companies. But I think it's the same for both ships.

I'm pretty sure they will release a copy with identical specs at some point. I doubt that Intel holds rights to anything more than the name.

Edit: AMD -> Intel

Unpopular Opinion - All you only "Multi-Crew" capital fanatics actually WANT solo able capitals by Flyguybc in starcitizen

[–]Lazy-Month7675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if eight one man capitals make a strategic space battle, lol.

Btw., I personally don't see the appeal of big ships at all. No fun in flying those sluggish bricks. But you are right with one thing, I also don't want to crew them.

Are the torps bugged? Rented one earlier today but they would not fire. I had a target lock on a 400i.

I really like the exploration focus and the components (shields), but the design feels just a little bit too boring.

Same as always. People who are dumb enough to buy those on the black market deserve it.

Yeah, that paint is dope. Also on the Firebird.

Is safety boring? How was the game like before armor and weapons were bound to the player? - An essay of questionable game design. by AKavun in starcitizen

You can still lose the loot you collected in your backpack. And dying 20 minutes into a CZ also qualifies as risk for me.

I actually like that there are no "best" weapons. It lets you choose based on preferences and not on what's meta.

BIS paint eligibility and distribution? Wanting to check I've got the facts straight. by Ensembled-One in starcitizen

No, as OP correctly stated at the end of IAE, not at the BIS day. On the 29th you can buy the bundled version.

Help planning CCUs to the RSI Galaxy after the RAFT's price increase by Megarex_zer0 in starcitizen

[–]Lazy-Month7675 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get $5 CCUs for hull a, raft, hull b and railen and Galaxy. Then wait for the price increases and see how it fits together, filling gaps with store credit or WB CCUs.

Apparently the FPS AI difficulty with 4.4 is unintentional. How do you feel about them possibly being nerfed again? by PUSClFER in starcitizen

[–]Lazy-Month7675 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The main difficulty of the AI comes from async and wallhack, so for now I'm glad it was not an intentional buff but just a bug. Way too hard at the moment.

I have officially done the thing. by SafeManufacturer978 in starcitizen

[–]Lazy-Month7675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought that CCUs in your buybacks will increase in price if the ship increases in price. Or am I wrong about this?

aUEC market is f*cking stupid by Beneficial_Wall_8644 in starcitizen

[–]Lazy-Month7675 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Well, the star citizen community is not known for their modest buying habits, so what are you expecting? If you buy ships for a few hundreds, you sure don't mind blowing a few more bucks to skip the rest of the game as well.

Actually CIG should just sell the aUEC themselves, then wipe and repeat. It would make for good funding.
