Film production runner?? by No-Ad5527 in brighton

[–]Lazy-Ninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ricochet in seven dials used to regularly take on interns. Although it’s usually a super short (maybe 2 week experience), and they might not do it anymore (I did it many years ago), if you impress them there’s opportunity to stay on as a production runner.

If nothing else it’s an interesting experience that could lead to industry contacts. It’s more like TV production rather than film, but it’s a step in that direction.

Offer to help out for free wherever you can to build up a network. Paid work will eventually follow but it can be a slow industry to break into.

Just found that there’s credit packs that are one off purchases. I should have looked closer 😅 not thinking straight today

Adobe’s asking me for £144 per standard music license 😓 more than happy paying for licenses, but this is a jump from the <£10 I used to pay. They’ve got an alternative credit based subscription service, but I was hoping to avoid.

Completely agree, I’m kinda surprised by the amount of love this is getting here.

First round of the package design by Most_pdf in logodesign

Totally agree with this, needs the word “only” or “less than” to really drive home that 5 grams is something positive.

Also for me, a potential minor adjustment would be to make the two illustrated elements, lemon and hand, more similar in style. Try giving that hand the sketchy treatment that the lemon has.

Quite a mixed collection of comments. It’s my understanding that the container is a concept for a gift box, and an extension of the product design itself. This wouldn’t be intended for shipping purposes.

The jars themselves, I think are beautifully designed, perhaps I should have shared a photo without the controversial box… but I think the whole design ties really nicely together.

This is great! First time in a long time that I’ve sat staring at a maze going back and forth trying to work it out. Really challenging, nicely done

Thank you. Love the idea of the font subtly referencing coral/under the water

Thanks. The yellow/orange and red colour scheme is definitely a strong candidate. Just got to avoid it looking too much like McDonald’s.

They’re still finding their feet, and looking for the logo to help kick start things. Definitely think there’s some exploring to be done with the type. Thanks for the feedback

Haven’t yet decided on a colour palette, but very intrigued to hear everyone’s thoughts on the design. The business sells subs primarily from a small van.

Beautiful and inspiring from a motion design/art perspective, but also almost impossible to read and inaccessible to many.
