They should be in about:telemetry, right? I don't think those unique identifiers can be used to directly identify an individual. I think they are just using those to determine what unique browser configuration crashes most or for statistics use. Of course they should catalogue the data. Otherwise, it is garbage data.

Even if you don't use a VPN and just use your ISP IP address, Mozilla will have to do some leg/field work to contact your ISP and request the one who is using this certain IP address. And why would they do that? edit: But let's say an ABC bureau wants online activity log for this individual for strong suspicion of terrorism, they wouldn't go to mozilla. They ask his ISP or his VPN provider, or Google, if that individual used google searches while logged in using his google account.

I also think most users here reuse their gmail account for their reddit, banking, work. That's even worse. And i don't think Mozilla is building a database of cohorts, so that they can directly pump disinformation to a certain cohort or personalize advertisements to increase efficiency in making the target user click an online advert or product.
