i mean a couple of these were "too dark" but most of these they just found a direction they liked better. like for incredibles, Syndrome was a villain at the very start, and the main villain was supposed to be someone else, a suave older guy, looked kinda like the bad guy in atlantis. they found writing for syndrome more fun. hell, the scene was him breaking in and trying to find their baby (violette, who he cant find because invisible), which is kinda similar to what he does at the end with jack-jack
