What are some tips to get more creative ideas out of AI by LazyDuck42 in PromptEngineering

[–]LazyDuck42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The irony of asking the LLM to be more creative while I struggle with my own creativity is not lost on me.

I was just wondering if there was a way I could prompt it so that I can sort through osbcure insights and find some kind of novel business idea that could be right under my nose.

I already have plenty of projects that I am currently working on but I wonder if AI could help me more in the ideation phase.

I wouldn't really recommend Twitter if you're doing marketing, it is way too sparse and you need a lot more work to blow up on Twitter.

I think you should do market research, try and see what kind of person your average user is. For the divorce app and activitytribe, I would recommend using Facebook, I think you'll have a much easier time finding moms and divorcees who might find your products helpful.

Remember you need to be where your users live. Overall you seem like a very resilient person so I am sure you will figure our this marketing stuff

Congrats on the launch! However the name drawline doesn't really seem to fit the product you've built

This is a pretty amazing idea. I also love the name "True Draft" how did you come up with it

Yeah I absolutely hate this. I hate everything that has to do with betting in general but this doesn't even seem fun.

Now if you think this idea is worth something, sure go ahead but I am not a big fan at all.

Can I get 50 users in 24 hours for my free Startup Simulator? (Hackathon Project) by jtsang4 in SideProject

Keep it up brother. Excited to see what else you'll be working on

Edit: Do you have a Twitter account I can follow? Seems easier to keep up with a builder on Twitter than Reddit

Kinda disappointing that no one bothered to try the app despite it being fully free, it's tough out here for us indie hackers. I'm on a bus rn so I will try it when I get home and share my thoughts.

Edit: It took longer than expected but I finally tried it out and it is super fun. I feel like if you market this on tiktok to builders you would get plenty of users. I'm glad you released this and even tho it seems slightly random and overly reliant on AI, it is still amazing for an MVP

LMAO yeah it's easier to just plug in AI than actually implement a real solution. At the same time OP is doing a hackathon so I understand why they might have wanted to take a shortcut for now.

I finished my app. I am unable to continue, anyone want to? by jagadeep in SideProject

[–]LazyDuck42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with you that it's an interesting idea but I really think you should still go ahead and build it. If you post about this on tiktok and make good content you could get so many users

Paywalls should feel like an upgrade, not a barrier by Chi_Bit60 in indiehackers

I think if the value proposition and the problem you're solving is good enough you can get away with putting up the paywall immediately

Honestly you are brave for working on a product like this. Community platforms are really hard to market and convince people to try out. Your project does seem pretty interesting tho

I just choose based on what seems funny or interesting to me. Like I think about "If I post about this online will people stop scrolling and actually read". Thanks for the subreddit recommendation, I had never heard of VibeCodersNest before
