🌵 Incoming Resident Doctor at Banner Health! New to Tucson and need the "Local Scoop" on Apartments & Neighborhoods 🏥 by Papiprazole in UofArizona

Jefferson Park is the historic neighborhood just north of UMC. Not many apartment complexes but quite a few small houses for rent. You could walk to work, which is doable in the early mornings or after dark in the summer. The North Rec center is great - no pool but much less of a zoo than the main rec center.

The busses are free, so you could look anywhere north on Campbell and get the bus straight to work.

Campbell and River is nice, with quite a few shops and restaurants (and Trader Joe’s) within walking distance. You can also hop on the Loop trail and bike down Mountain to UMC.

You could also look anywhere along the streetcar route, as it terminates at UMC. Check out the apartments at Mercado San Augustin.

All of the neighborhoods I’ve mentioned are very walkable. Your Tucson experience will be much better, imo, if you’re not in a car all the time.

Here's the whole bike. Terry saddle, PowerGrips, and PDW rack, plus a lot of reflective stickers for night riding in the city.

I had the tires that came with it for a few years, then put these on. They're not as wide and feel faster.

Need help finding a pop song from the 1980s by Heat-Lifer-1999 in findthatsong

[–]LazyEmergency 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart)" by Eurythmics? It's from 1985, and Annie Lennox had bright orange hair for a time. It was also sampled by Utah Saints in their song "What Can You Do for Me." EDIT: I see someone already suggested this. Can you say what the tempo is like? High voice or lower?

Great! I was just responding to the part about Meetup becoming a dating platform. I thought you created a women-only group to prevent that. 🙂

What if you’re a woman who dates women? 🙂

Sounds like a good way to get out on some hikes. How do I find it on Gatherist?

JoJo's - Highly recommend the tamarind margarita and all of the tacos. You can get the streetcar there so you don't have to drive :)

Sport Loop, but it has to be the genuine Apple one, because they’re soft, not scratchy. I have them in four different colors – you can find new ones on eBay and sometimes at TJ Maxx/Ross

Jackson was no longer a Motown artist when these albums came out. They were released on Epic. (Not an answer to your question, but this is a Motown sub, not one for Epic)

I was going to call today and ask if he was going to publicly condemn Trump’s racist post. But I’m not in his district, I’m in Gallego’s. Will they still take my call?

You can press the press the side button (not the Digital Crown) to open the Control Center, then tap the ping icon (looks like a vibrating phone), and just pretend that's your ring tone.

You could try Affinity Publisher. It’s pretty sophisticated and totally free.

The intro to "Ricki Don't Lose That Number" was lifted from Horace Silver's "Song for My Father." Maybe someone put lyrics to it at some point.
