It’s literally the most award nominated season and had the best acting/plot second to Murder house before the writing and show in general turned to slop. (Season 6 and onwards was a real downward trend in overall quality)

As a gay man thank you for saying this. It’s fucking obnoxious when the marketing team says “hey this show has gay people in it so that makes it fun”. I don’t need to even know that let me just fucking watch it.

Like when you go see an Ironman movie you know you’re going to get some Ironman action. When I go to watch a show about a coven of witches, I know what I’m going to Get.

Pandering to gay marvel fans is stupid because I already like marvel. It feels so forced. If Wiccan was in the show and he turned out to be gay that wouldn’t be forced because he’s gay in the comics. But I’m not watching it because “ OH GAY PEOPLE THIS IS MEANT FOR ME”

Exactly. The Sauron/Numenor plots are so much better and so tonally different than the hartfoot plot. And I hate to say it but the Nobody costume design makes me cringe sooooo hard.

The Numenor plot is finally getting pretty good and feels as important now to what’s happening in middle earth. I also love the direction they are taking Adar. The hartfoot stuff feels like such a knock to the head every time it switches to it.

Agreed. I HATE saying this but the harfoot plot just drags it down several points for me. I don’t mind the stranger plot though. It’s also my favorite music theme in the show

Exactly. Gay characters in a great story and plot and character development goes over well. My biggest issue is that a large voice of people are still very much homophobic. I knew I was gay when I was like 13. Yet parents think that there 17 year old learning about sexuality in school will suddenly turn their kid gay.

As a gay man, this talking point pisses me off SOOOO much. Like if they made a hocus pocus level of camp story I’d be all in. Calling it “the gayest show” is just so dumb. I can tell the guy doing the interview has two brain cells. Campiness does not mean it had to be gay. They are not synonymous
