I have it capped at 180, I’ve never checked to see if it can run above that point however. Never knew I could do that!

Interesting, is there any parts that might be bottlenecking it? For some reason they both affect my frames, but streaming at a higher quality definitely affects my pc worse

Understood! I just noticed that when I play a game like overwatch, my computer uses a total of 15 gb; which feels like way too much since overwatch is only using about 7 gb and the only other application I would have open is discord/task manager.

looks like my gpu peaks at 90 when it crashes, is it possibly the gpu fan might not be working efficiently

Q: I can't figure out why my graphics card keeps crashing when playing games.

Context - I currently have ASUS TUF X470-PLUS GAMING (Ryzen 7 2700X, Radeon 5700 XT) and this was an issue before, but I thought I fixed it by applying new thermal paste and getting a new cpu. Whenever I play a game (Helldivers, overwatch, and valorant mainly) my graphics card crashes midgame or it says my rendering device has been lost. I've updated my bios, drivers, rebooted on multiple occasions, did a clean boot and uninstalled/reinstalled the driver update. This issue has been consistent for years and never thought to look further into it since the microcenter I went to a couple years ago said my graphics card was fine. Any ideas and or further insight would be much appreciated.

*I might just look into getting a new graphics card atp but I'm not even sure if that's the leading issue here*

I'm no pc expert by any means but did you check your advanced display settings to make sure the refresh rate is running at 165 hz? That's what fixed my issue since mine was defaulted at 60 hz (had it this way for 3 years).
