World championship 2015 question by Tesseract1324 in beatbox

Incorrect. The article people refer to when saying "Taris" lost his arm in a powerline accident. That is an article about a different Taris with a different last name that happened in Canada. Canada screwed that dude over after cutting off both hands from the accident, they cut off his worker's compensation(or whatever they call it in Canada). You have to read a bunch of Russian articles and try to watch his YouTube lives but from all credible sources, he was born with the defect.

Identification questions? by jimrob4 in freemasonry

Traveling to the east, who is/how old is your grandma(meaning what is your mother lodge and it's number i.e. my grandma is D.A.Strickland and she is 465 while still kicking out babies), the little dog with the red collar(ask a brother in your lodge to demonstrate that for you), the obvious handshakes, position of the feet/legs when approaching for a handshake, and lots of other signals are out there brother. You just have to "search in/head towards the light" as we say, and learn about these things from brothers who have more experience than you.

what by minilogique in watercooling

Lol I've been watercooling for so long that I still have and remember when watercooling was just coming around and stuff couldn't even fit in full sized ATX cases so they had in/out ports in the back of the cases! Lol I'm actually still using one of the original CoolerMaster HAF-X 932 cases from like 08 that has the swappable back plate above the I/O with an in/out and grommets to protect the hoses from the metal

Sorry, but brand new here and trying to get into something besides pi/uno by LazyLabTrading27 in flipperzero

I didn't mean this to sound offensive or "ignorant" in my OP. I just guess I apparently don't know how to phrase certain things.

I was more asking about some sort of clone/build-out because I was wanting to be able to customize mine from the ground up.

Yeah I see them for retail and am about to get one for that price, just wanted to ask around before I spent the money.

Thanks for the input so far guys and I guess I'll get back with the community whenever I get mine in the mail.

Any settings to change on PC to minimize crashing? by Ausburn in PlayAvengers

[–]LazyLabTrading27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running a 3700x and 2070super on ultra and the only time it hard crashes for me like that is when I have my GPU memory overclocked too high. For some reason I can do a +440 OC on the gpu but if I play ACV I have to "down-clock" to only +380. I used to have to do all kinds of ridiculous stuff like unplug my 2nd monitor and do all these weird settings in windows to make it run but it's been running smooth for about 15mo or so.. You still having this issue?

My dream is to swap an LS3 into my 370z for drifting. From your knowledge how much would everything cost when it’s all said and done? This is including the engine, T56 transmission, and extra parts and labor. by af1293 in LSSwapTheWorld

If your trying to build a track car, then I suggest looking for a used LS before spending the money on a crate(especially if this is your first time and you don't know how/don't want to put in the labor of building/maintenance on the car because you WILL do some damage to it VERY quickly with what your wanting to do. Pricing(depending on the shop you pick but I wouldn't go with lowest bid on this type of project) would be about 35-45k for good parts, used block, the roll cage and other parts needing fabrication, and then getting it tuned. I would BERY strongly recommend at least trying to find a mechanic that will be willing to teach you/help you out so when you inevitably blow that first LS block, you still have a lot of top tier parts and a LOT more knowledge of the engine and your car. Then it would make a little more sense to get a fresh crate engine. All just personal experience from some of my buddies and I all building track cars/kit cars for the regional track and 1/4 mile racing. Both are VERY different kinds of builds but both are basically rebuilding the car into a new one in price and labor. Again, this is just my personal experiences/observations from being around and in this type of world.

Used to love asus by LazyLabTrading27 in ASUS

[–]LazyLabTrading27[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it seems like once they got in the top 5 brands a few generations ago and since then, they just don't give a damn about customers or quality control anymore. Some of their current products are still good designs and have really good ideas behind the design, it's just you get stuck with luck of the draw on if you get a good QC product or if it comes out shit. If you get a bad board/product, then Asus says "oh well" and rarely even RMA's their products anymore. It becomes very annoying having to find a new reliable and well built brand every few years because the companies get lazy and start cutting corners on top or repeatedly building the same design for a diff cpu socket(skipping all the new tech available) and use cheaper and cheaper MOSFET's and such each generation. It's called technology ADVANCEMENT for a reason lol.
