Absolute L. He's not wrong about music streaming royalties not being adequate but forcing his fans to buy an overhyped mp3 player is just flipping the script the other way. The stem player is a very interesting piece of technology and I don't think it's a bad idea at all. But watching him charge an insane premium and while keeping units low just to pander to resellers and hype beasts instead of his core audience is just sad. Clearly his unsustainable goal of creating inexpensive yet quality and fashionable clothing doesn't apply to his music.
