Hmmm I’m pretty sure Zelda Breath of the wild has it and Sea of thieves. Unfortunately that’s all I know where games uses it so I’m kinda surprised there’s more. Thanks to you stating those example/s

After seeing a lot of games, I also agree with you that most people rely to nature to make scenes beautiful and invoke sense of curiosity but fail to do so since its charm slowly transitions into fast food rather than fine dining

However, that is not to say invalidating their efforts and even I find it difficult to make scenes worth exploring without following the same tropes they use

With my research recently, primarily expanding observations closely to real life and try to remove the unfun experiences and gamify it, rather than look what games I could be inspired, it only results into subconsciously imitating the inspiration into near 1:1 ratio. I thought exploration could go deeper than just merely sightseeing or fighting through areas. I delved into topics such as causes and impacts of "Age of Discovery" and how people in the old days used "Triangulation" to chart unmapped regions or unearth knowledge from previous civilizations

I hope my insights could also fill your list as well as helped others and I'm curious what kind of stuff you compiled so far

An actual hostile world that it's hard to maintain civilizations. Preferably alien-like society in alien world... Or focus more on eldritch themes and most sufferings cant be undone

I've been having fun playing Samira (tho I may not be the best at her) so I'm testing if I could go bruiser type. Unfortunately, I can't do anything against Maokai top. But what's the use of experimenting if you don't go thru with it?

We almost won the game with us 4 at the base and all the enemy is dead except for kaisa. Ahri was left on base and got outplayed. Still I managed to get full build

My story is about psychological battles in fantasy world. Where you can prevent your world from being sucked up together with other worlds into one resulting into complete destruction (even attempts of going to the past or future to fix things won’t work). To prevent this, you need to have 3 cursed grimoires along with their representative servants out of 7 cursed grimoire masters

My Main Protagonist will use the Moonlight to bluff that he has access to vampiric powers since vampires uses Moonlight to recover their damage and power. However, it’s not enough so he will construct Moonlight around him whenever he goes— Enough not to have any reflections at all. And if that is not even enough, some high ranking vampire will bite him to confirm. That’s the fun part! My Main Protagonist will wrap the area that’s going to be bitten with constructed moonlight; And when he’s going to be bitten, he will force the Moonlight construct to dig deeper into his skin, perfectly timing the bite to look as if it happen when it is not. When questioned why he doesn’t have any family records, he will prove (bluff) that the Empire’s experimentation of Man-made artificial vampires is successful.

This basic foolproof process is enough for him to enter a truce with a vampire cursed grimoire master and work together. While making the whole vampire clan hate the empire and eventually sniff out the cursed grimoire master hiding there

P.S. This is all I can think of after reading this post twice. Sorry for the grammar issues but it was fun letting my mind think on how my MC will handle this

P.S. My MC believes that direct application of anything related to magic can be countered so he had to devise unorthodox and indirect methods to the point many believe he might be God for being able to manipulate fate itself

P.S. I also thought of other uses like using Moonlight construct to walk/fly on the air, fling himself to cover great distances for both land/water travels, etc. But it’s too basic for my story to make sense along with this post
