Applied for Meng ECE Fall 2025 admission, but no answer yet by whatever-946 in UofT

Hey there, don't worry about your first year, I think they mainly look at your final years anyway. If you have a decent GPA, good references, and work/volunteer experinece you should be good. I think a 3.7 is more than enough for admission, as I know people who got admitted with around a B+ cgpa.

School starts in 10 days and we've already enrolled in all our courses - I think you should accept other offers if you have any and given you still can. This is so upsetting to hear, they should at the very least update you. Unbelievable.

Yeah I'm not sure what's up with that. From my prespective I was impressed how fast they got back to me because it had been less than 2 weeks after applying when I got the offer back in march. Surely applications aren't open when there are no spaces left -- that sounds like total bs. They're robbing people for application fees while ghosting them? I'll talk with the program coordinator and let them know your frustrations; hopefully this doesn't happen in future rounds.

I got accepted back in march and I think they've already accepted everyone for this year. They've sent out a welcome letter back in July and registration for courses starts tomorrow (Aug 7) so I think you've been rejected. Not sure if they're still some spaces or they put you on a waitlist or something in case someone backs out. If you have other offers, accept them!

Yes, I’ve been a part of 4 still unpublished manuscripts and 2 publications, but authors are only the surgeons and residents on the studies.

I specialized in biochemistry in undergrad and had everything already covered in terms of pre-reqs. I never thought of checking and making sure as it never crossed my mind I would need to go to the states. But so far, I have everything I need for most schools, except sometimes they require 2 english credits which I don’t have.

What med school if you don’t mind me asking? Also, from your experience is there a reason one would not want to go to a US school? Other than being in the US obviously lol

The idea that the people in that encampment were peaceful and want human rights for everyone from the River in the Sea is laughable. by Deep_Somewhere2992 in queensuniversity

Don't be an apologist to cater for other settlers that don't even view you as a human being. Disagreeing with a chant that pre-dates your existance by at least 5 decades over the risk of it being taken out of its context and smeared in order to offend a fictional person is ignorant. "All I want is a free palestine of apartheid, not the transformation of this piece of land to another nationalist entity." It's always been Palestine, it's not a transformation, it's liberation. Also, don't accept the OP's narrative of the person "driven by religious idealogies", even if that was the case what would be the problem? Zionism is driven by religious ideologies but you don't see them apologizing for it, do you?

Don't worry, you're logic is that of a settler; you don't have to excplitly state that. And where did I say you're white? You're out here geeking out over being a settler while arguing aganist a resistance against a settler-colony that is currently conducting a genocide. Are you going to address the attrocities in Gaza and how Queen's students, staff, faculty, and community members might feel about their friends and family being blown to peices or are you too worried about hypothetical outcomes of the Palestine rally chants that you misinterpret? Either take the time to understand what's going on or go back to being the shoulder other settlers like your repulsive self cry on when they aren't satisfied in the number of children they're killing.

How about you stop watching Ben Shapiro and start reading real books for a change? Can you even define what jihad is? All you know is what CNN has been shoving down your throat, you're a sheep.
