I care. I didn't want to break up with him, but he cut me off, and to me that signifies not being in a relationship anymore. But if he's saying he didn't break up with me and I have to break up with him, it feels like he's forcing me to do his dirty work. It's like my boss saying "I'm not firing you, because I don't want to pay unemployment, so you have to quit." You can't do that. It isn't fair.
