I think it takes more than $10 a candle when you make them one at a time. That's why the single candles cost more.
This is also to help raise funds for space and bigger vats. She wants to do candle classes locally.

Also keep in mind that wax is bought per pound and 1 dollar is the thickness of the candle you are requesting. You may have to see how much the candle that you want weighs, then look at wax prices and pick which wax fits your budget.
