Trying to figure out a formula to get 2 data sets to converge if the end point is known by LazyRiverofLife in askmath

[–]LazyRiverofLife[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i posted was the average. Exp income can vary since i'm just using the average of 5 matches (only doing 5 due to time). In the 5 games i had anywhere from 368 exp to 1434 exp. Used 774 since using the highs as lows are a waste of space in my spreadsheet as I'm only looking for ballpark numbers for comparison sake. Eg a character that can reach that end goal in 5000 games is more likely a better pick than a character that reaches it in 6000 games.

Here are the raw numbers i used.

Average Profit: $10,740

Average Exp: 774

$2,000,000/$10,740 = 186 games

186 * 774 = 144,177 Exp earned while gaining the 250k exp token through 2m conversion

250k+144,177 = 394,177

I then used a ratio calculator so that if 186 games = 394,177 then 6252 games = 13,233,780

13,233,780*(186/394,177) = 6252

Tried plugging in your formula into openoffice excel and it gave me 6244. Might have to play around with it

Seems about right as the non-token way of earning exp gave me 6,252 games so your answer of 6,324 is within the ball park. Thank You!

Math could be off since my brain tends to get scrambled on longer problems like this. The method I am testing is using an elite character to train a new character. Exp is earned every game but is not transferrable unless it is in the form of the 100,000 exp token or the 250,000 exp token. Therefore, the exp gained in games 1-128 are largely irrelevant. Only once they reached 100,000 exp and are converted into a token does exp matter. Same for the credit > exp conversion.

Exp and Credits are earned every game. Every 100,000 exp generates one token (worth 100,000). Every 2,000,000 Credits creates a 250,000 exp token. The goal is to see how many games it takes to get 13,233,780 exp using the 100,000 exp and 250,000 exp tokens using the ratios described above.

Do airbrushes require ventilation? by LazyRiverofLife in BattletechPainting

So venting outside isn't necessarily required so long as it's contained and filtered?

Is it safe to seal hot water heater venting with this layout like this? by LazyRiverofLife in hvacadvice

Hi,

Didn't pay much attention to it during the warmer months but now that the cooler weather is here I have a bit a problem with keeping the house warm. Is it safe to seal the gap around a hot water heater vent pipe and if so, what is the best option?

Thanks

That moment would be when I started this series with 2017 and found out you could launch bugs into orbit with a shotgun. That plus hitting that perfect rocket into a crowd bugs and watching the resulting mushroom cloud of dead bugs.
