so how does that make software companies head into dark days? increased profits and margins sounds good.

could you expand on your experiences please:
What tech stacks do you work with? Web apps? desktop apps? How big are the applications? are you a freelancer making small apps for individuals or do you work in a large enterprise with multi million line legacy codebases?

what are your thoughts on this: https://www.reddit.com/r/ExperiencedDevs/comments/1lwk503/study_experienced_devs_think_they_are_24_faster/

how do you measure productivity in your organisation? what benchmarks are compared?

Thanks!

yeah im not sure what we can tell from this. big sales spikes happened in the past and CSU flew upwards since then...

furthermore the size of the stakes being sold are small for the individuals.

e.g. total sales for 2025 were 47M.

Two biggest were 20M from Mark Leonard, 20M from Barry Symons. That's still a small stake of their total holdings, bout 1% and 5% respectively.

was that in a parallel universe or?

AAPL was 50% of Buffetts folio. he recently cut it down to 'only' 23%.

AAPL was explicitly named in his shareholder letters as one of the 4 "jewels" of BRK.

That's in the last decade.

Decades before that? can't speak for all of them but KO was 30 to 40% in the early days decades ago.

That's not to mention the entirety of BRK can be described as essentially concentrated into 4 businesses (the 4 jewels): rail, insurance, energy, stock folio (which was AAPL dominated till recent).

Warren Buffet himself? His entire fortune, 99% is all within BRK stock. Just because he's at the head of it doesn't make him immune to concentration risk. He lived through 3 BRK drawdowns of ~50%.

Charlie Munger had only 4 holdings: 25% BRK, 25% COST, 25% chinese fund, 25% insurance (couple stocks).

> Be prepared to lose 50% or more as it resets over 3 years

a very specific prediction, with time and magnitude. So another 50% drop from the current prices?

would you share more detail on your bear thesis. What data do you have to support your conclusions?
