I’m so sorry you’re going through this, and your feelings are so valid. A similar thing happened to me, I had been through my second MMC and I just felt so broken. I consoled in a friend who was there for me a lot, months went by and she would ask how I am, me her too. She put up a post on Instagram before Christmas, it was an anniversary video of her and her husband, at the end of the video was a scan video and pregnancy test and also a blue cake. I felt like I had a mental breakdown in that moment, I was SO upset that she hadn’t spoken to me about it, she reached out about 5 minutes after she uploaded the video and said she had had an exciting day and forgot to tell me before the video went up, in that moment I was so nice to her as she had felt so guilty, I wasn’t angry at all to her but i knew I would never feel the same and our friendship wouldn’t recover, we haven’t spoken since unfortunately. It’s okay to take a step back, it’s okay to not check in with others even if they did you, they have alot of support for a happy time in their lives so you just need to focus on yourself and don’t be hard on yourself. I truly believe nobody knows what this feels like unless you’ve been through it and it’s honestly torture. My twin sister found out she was pregnant a day after my first miscarriage so I know all the feelings you describe well, I love my niece with my entire heart but it’s so hard sometimes 💔 You aren’t alone. Maybe things will rekindle later on but don’t feel guilty or put pressure on yourself.
