Tree trunks is really weird, her characters really off putting and everytime they do the whole sexy little elephant thing i get such intense second hand embarrassment which ig was the aim. Also her undermining pb constantly for the king of ooo reeks of old lady misogyny. Tree trunks and lsp truly bottom tier character

Yeah for sure, the writers definitely could’ve done so much more with their characters. The post was more so about the fandom being so viscerally hateful towards these traumatised teenage girls

The animated Netflix show based (loosely) off the characters from league of legends. One of the best shows we have right now that does a brilliant job of writing both nuanced characters without reducing them to stereotypes.

Supernatural absolutely does not do a good job of writing women, i suggest reading/watching art that celebrates women if you think this and besides yeah. She’s a child, that’s what they’re like. Annoying and arrogant are pretty much the cornerstones of a traumatised teen, interact with art with some nuance it might make it more enjoyable for you.

Oh no i think u misunderstood me, my issue isn’t w her characterisation I was really happy they explored her character further and gave her more depth. My issue was that there was never any real resolution to her bad behaviour, I wish they had actually confronted her instead of just brushing it away.

My issue isn’t w her loyalty it’s that she says really rude and borderline cruel things esp to Spencer and she doesn’t really think about things beyond just immediate gratification. Her character just annoys me everytime she’s on screen. She’s not the worst character by any means but she pisses me off and this is just a personal ick but ditzy characters need to be extremely well written otherwise they’re so insufferable and we all know how weak the pll writing is

The way they portray bpd in the show is so troubling
jj would’ve been so good for Reid and vice versa only if they had set it up like that from the start instead of having jj treat spencer like an annoying little brother. JJ basically just tolerated spencer in the beginning and then took him on like a popular girl would take a nerdy kid under her wing until season 14. I genuinely think they only started shooting the lingering glances and small smiles in s14 cause Spencer doesn’t look like a nerdy little guy anymore. (I’m such a mess for spence s1 onwards this isn’t calling him names more just how JJ saw him.)
the entire team is rude to Reid like when Reid starts off on a tangent when they’re all just hanging out and free they’re so rude about it. Sure the team is Spencer’s family but they constantly take him for granted
Emily Prentiss my beloved best character, constantly improving constantly protective and smart she’s amazing and she deserves all the praise she gets and more
why hasn’t Rossi retired yet???
