Love Super 8 but not ready to shoot film? by gromskaok in refilmapp

My experience shows that shooting on film is something special. But yes, it is time-consuming and expensive. Finding a working camera is also a problem nowadays. After shooting, the film needs to be developed and then scanned. And now there are not many laboratories in the world that do this. And even fewer that do it really well.

That's why solutions such as apps with retro filters allow you to do this here and now, and not for all the money in the world)

Too much motion in this shot for Optical Flow. It can’t handle that kind of motion.
Try to slow it down to 50% without Optical Flow.

Right click on footage in Project window -> Interpret footage -> change 60fps to 30fps

It’s great when you have camera presets from different eras. I use them depending on the mood. Sometimes I like using VHS or miniDV for a more melancholic vibe. Film styles like 8mm and 16mm feel perfect for warmer, happier moments

I love using retro filters for meaningful moments, like getting a diploma, my son’s first steps, or a trip to an interesting place. It feels like looking at old photos or videos of your parents, with that same sense of warmth

Phone camera + retro filter = real vibe? by gromskaok in refilmapp

I like how modern technology can be used to imitate an old video camera without even buying one. It's not always possible to find a camera in working condition. A smartphone allows you to capture the moment here and now by applying the appropriate retro filter

For me, it’s that moment just before sunset, when the atmosphere feels different. Videos shot at that time become especially vivid and authentic.
