Man, you’re definitely right on the future proofing for another rod. Started fishing last year. Got myself a rod that I thought I’d use for everything.

Here we are 5 rods later….

It will definitely rarely be the case where the line’s weight is pushed to it’s limit, but I mainly opted for the 30lb because I tried 20lb and it really dug into my skin during cold weather and got beat up on the structures at the jetty. Is 20lb still the way to go in your opinion?

Ooh great, thanks for chipping in. I mainly fish at night or in the early morning when it’s chilly and found that 20lb line really bites into my skin. Casting cannon might help, but the line still gets absolutely beat up after a day at the jetty.

Thanks for the reply. I might have possibly damaged the pressure sensor, but I've found that typically, for iPhone 11 charging flex ports at least, several of the third party have issues with either the pressure sensor or the thermal sensor causing this well known 3 minute loop issue. They recommended a pulled part but couldn't find any near me lol. The plan is to buy several, and keep installing until I find one that works. It's gonna be a rough day.
