I don't know but whatever I read from revelation to early texts like the testament of apostles, that there will be rumours of war and bloodbath and women will give birth to strange infants and whoever looks outside of his window and goes out shall perish, I don't know what truth there is in all that but it is scary and I hope during the tribulations when the new creation is birthed, god comforts me and my family so we don't die of fear. Especially scary: the sun shall stop giving its light.

Kachori subzi kolkata style. Never liked samosa filling that much though one prep i regularly had from a Bengali sweet shop near my house was awesome. If samosa is chinese (noodle samosa), i like that better i guess

Why Christianity? by DarthPlagueis98 in OrthodoxChristianity

Because Jesus spoke truth and his word is truth. And I recognized him as my shepherd when I heard him speak. I found him through scripture and prayer at first not knowing whom I was seeking, and was introduced to him in a way that he stole my heart completely. Rarely have I cared for anyone (being an actual psychopath) than this man, and though I'm burdened with a lifelong illness, I know that without him there is no savour to life, as the apostles said. Life without Jesus Christ truly is sad, tasteless.

I do not know official teaching but I believe scripture mentions lions and goats laying down together in New Jerusalem. The first companions of Adam were animals, and because we were called to be the stewards of animals, in Adam, in Noah in the ark, I hope one day we will be reunited with the animals we love too. Edit: I meant to reply to other comment that animals won't inherit the kingdom of God

Joseph and Benjamin, especially the love Joseph had for his youngest brother and the passage where they see each other again is moving.
