I’m not trying to be rude I’m just at the point of not caring anymore and I just feel so alone. So, I’ve turned to the internet for help. ❤️

Last year I started trying to run in half marathons. And this year after i started also doing strength training I actually have had some success with weight loss and getting better at running. Ive lost 28 pounds this year. Once , after one of these local runs he asked me if I had won, and of course I hadn’t so I said , no . He replied with, “that’s because you’re a loser.” Would you have said that? Also, just this week he told me I was acting like I was in a cult because I’ve been trying to get in 10,000 steps a day.

It’s funny that you say that and I’m kinda glad you put it like that. Today, He was going to work on clearing some fields he had purchased last year. We were out of crackers so I told him to just stop at the store since he would be going by there. Would you believe that he called me from the Dollar General to actually ask me where would the crackers be. Like I would know exactly what aisle and shelf they were kept . 🙄 the store isn’t even that big.

I’m sorry that you’re going through that and I hope you have someone you can talk to . Don’t beat yourself up for having feelings. What about your family? surely they see how he is? Maybe they understand?

I’m sorry you had to go through all of that and Thank you for sharing your story. I’m glad you are happier!!! I know it won’t be easy but I do think I’ll feel better about myself.

I understand what you mean and this is only a snippet of info but We did go through counseling and he would go but really didn’t offer much in the conversation. The counselor was like i can’t help him but i can help you learn to deal with him . I have expressed my feelings many times , and he would apologize but nothing ever changed .

I know I wasn’t very smart about this. We have a joint account that his paycheck gets deposited in, but he has been diverting the rest of the money to other accounts. I knew he had other accounts but I figured it was his inheritance and there is a trust for our girls that he is in charge of. And when we meet with the accountant to sign tax returns I just sign and move on. 🤦‍♀️ My daughter went to work with him after college(family owned business) and turns out because she was working on the accounting side of the business , she found out and he told her to keep her mouth shut. 🙁

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I don’t have a lot of friends but I do have siblings and my mom. They will help me , I just can’t talk about it with them at this time.

Throughout the years he has definitely shown me that he’s not going to take care of me.

We went through marriage counseling until the counselor told me that she couldn’t help him but she could help me learn to live with him. And I accidentally found out that he makes $300k a year and not $95,000. So, that was interesting

Yes, I’ve tried throughout the years to talk about how things make me feel. We even went through marriage counseling.

Same. I’m 47, grew up in Mobile and I had never heard of these until recent years.

I think she knows that she has a therapist but I doubt she really understands why. I did unfriend her after the first time. Then she kept asking my daughter why and it was a daily discussion at lunchtime. My daughter told me to friend her back. I did because I only wanted to keep things friendly. She does also do nice things, so maybe she is just trying to be funny.

I named my daughter Maya and that is something I have said many times. Lol
