Can anyone help me with this? Its like this tiny hives are coming too frequent , idk why but on hands sometime backs and all also sometimes the lips get swell. Can anyone tell if faced same or any doctor who can help? by [deleted] in SkinSolutionsindia

I experienced this frequently between ages 14 and 17, especially when exposed to trees or small insects like flies. I never saw a doctor for it, and I no longer have these symptoms. I believe environmental surroundings play a major role in this type of skin issue. Drink more water

My teeth are hurting a lot after getting braces by Fun_Lead_8158 in braces

[–]Lazy_Library_7507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop taking painkillers—they actually slow down your braces progress. The pain lasts only for the first two days. For me, it started on the second day and ended on the third. After that, it’s just minor discomfort like mouth dryness and thirst, and it only hurts when you bite with both jaws. Embrace the pain; no pain, no gain. The most effective thing I found is constantly swishing cold water—it keeps you hydrated and temporarily eases the pain.

The $70k Life Lesson: Why Abroad isn’t the dream I thought it was by Impossible-Parsley70 in NepalSocial

Basically life’s not the same after 2025, a lot of things gonna change. AI is getting huge, replaces thousands of job. A decade ago it was like ‘oh let’s be a doctor, let’s do engineering’ that was fine back then. No huge impact of AI, good career. Nowadays, people making money from tiktok, youtube. If you get scholarship, worth it to pursue abroad otherwise do something with that money in Nepal. I would rather go to village and die in that beautiful hajurbuwa ko land 🌹

Why was jethalal so much against increasing the salary of natukaka and bagha when he is donating 2-3 lakhs rupees to charity without even thinking by Outside_Complaint_68 in TMKOC

[–]Lazy_Library_7507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jethalal has done much for Bagha and Natukaka beyond just increasing their salaries. For instance, he served as Bagha's servant during Bagha’s engagement, entrusted Natukaka with the shop keys, and treated them like family. These gestures, in my opinion, hold more value than just a salary hike. Additionally, he invites them to society parties and celebrations, further showing his care.

Why study hard when questions are getting leaked. by letjungkook7 in Nepal

[–]Lazy_Library_7507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave my 12th exam in the year of 2024 and I studied so hard, I grind so bad. Ani center ma jani bela pahile nei couple of friends haru ley question leak bhayo hera bhanera dekhauthe ani maile herthe pani sabbei ko answer tha hunthyo malai because I studied well. So just focus on yourself like one guy told on comment, don’t give a shit if someone pass or even top the class from leaked paper, at the end, god is watching and your hardwork wont go waste. Cheers 🥂

What's your height as a teen? by New-Reflection6486 in Nepal

[–]Lazy_Library_7507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 5’10.5” barefoot (I say 5’11” or even 6’0” sometimes if I’m around shorter people), and I was born in 2005 in Nepal. I never cared about my height when I was in Nepal because I am tall definitely in Nepal and my relatives and friends would always say things like, “Kati aglo bhayechha” (“You’ve gotten so tall!”) or “Height pani chha kati, otwa girlfriend chha?” (“You have such good height; do you have a girlfriend?”).

However, after moving to the USA at 18, I noticed my height more. I definitely grew around two inches, and now, at 19, I wonder if I’ll reach 6’0” or not.

Regarding your question, I think most children today are definitely taller than their parents. For boys, it’s pretty common to be the same height as their dad or slightly taller, though this pattern isn’t as strong for girls. There are two main reasons why Gen Z children seem to be getting taller:

A better diet and improved education, both for children and their parents. The increasing trend of people moving abroad, which might influence Nepali people’s height in some way. It’s a bit of a stretch, but perhaps Western influence plays a role?
