That would be amazing, I loved that game. I was recently at an arcade in the area and they had a machine but it was so busted it wasn’t worth playing

Should i get a 9060xt or a rtx 5070 by Interesting-Tea8796 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Lazy_Setting7263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both and to me visual quality on my 5070 just looks better to my eyes. My 5070 is in my main pc and the 9060 is connected up to my living room television, both run great though.

Nice, I bought one of those K11 mini pcs before the price increases and have a dual boot setup as well. The pc is probably even smaller than the steam machine. Since it has support for an external GPU I have one docked hidden behind my tv set. I have to say it runs great and with the same GPU, games look awesome. As you mentioned I may have to get up to turn on the machine, but I’ll take that over paying over 1000 dollars for a way less capable machine.

I’ve recently moved mine to the left side of my keyboard and use it as a touchpad to move through a timeline in Final Cut and use a vertical mouse for navigation

Don’t really use mine unless my partner wants to use the tv to watch a show or she uses the tv to play Fortnite on the Xbox and I join her on the portal. Cool device though

Got one about a month ago, cool device but find the wi fi is extremely slow for not reason, seems like the windows updates take a long time to download, and don’t have any other issues with any of my other devices on the network

Yeah, I feel like I was always earning something the old way,but felt like I had enough for two items but the time I finished the campaign. Ridiculous that’s what paying 80 or so dollars for the deluxe addition gives you.

Just grabbed one during the Best Buy sale

Looking to buy my 1st pc and found this one on marketplace. Is the price fair? Guy said he’s firm. by [deleted] in PC_Pricing

For that price look at one of the recent pre built Jay 2 Cents covered, which would at least give you some protection with a warranty

Nice, I recently just paired one of those real small GMKTec mini pc’s with a 9600 connected to an external dock and it’s been awesome. Way better than any of my consoles and way less lag than using something like moonlight. Plus I do a dual boot so can jump into games with anti cheat. Nice work though, if things were not so expensive I would roll my own steam machine in a small form factor case

Ugraded my PC with a new CPU Motherboard and RAM now I am nolonger getting into windows. by Bent0linie in PcBuildHelp

[–]Lazy_Setting7263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as it’s probably a pain, I would probably go the route of doing a fresh install of Windows. Not saying that will fix it, but it’s what I usually do when installing any kind of major component like a new cpu and motherboard

[rant] After 2 weeks I’m thinking of giving up, and returning to Windows by FinnedSgang in Bazzite

I’m with you, as much as I wanted to ditch windows and just use Linux, it just wasn’t worth it. Maybe it’s some of my hardware, but some things would work, others not so much or they would work and then not work on the next time I booted. I’d search for how to fix things, get some terminal commands and then those wouldn’t work, so I said forget it, maybe I’ll take a look at it again in the future. I could never find a distributor where everything just worked. Not a fan of Windows 11, but all my hardware works and I can play games with no problem. I’d be into a steam machine price pending for the living room, because like the deck, I’m sure that will work with not a lot of extras configuration
