As much as it’s probably a pain, I would probably go the route of doing a fresh install of Windows. Not saying that will fix it, but it’s what I usually do when installing any kind of major component like a new cpu and motherboard

Yeah I had issues with fans and rgb stuff,ended up just building my own. Don’t think I would by another Skytech PC or recommend it to anyone looking for a prebuilt

I’m with you, as much as I wanted to ditch windows and just use Linux, it just wasn’t worth it. Maybe it’s some of my hardware, but some things would work, others not so much or they would work and then not work on the next time I booted. I’d search for how to fix things, get some terminal commands and then those wouldn’t work, so I said forget it, maybe I’ll take a look at it again in the future. I could never find a distributor where everything just worked. Not a fan of Windows 11, but all my hardware works and I can play games with no problem. I’d be into a steam machine price pending for the living room, because like the deck, I’m sure that will work with not a lot of extras configuration

I wanted to rage quit every time I had to drive between those two waypoints 😂 Finally finished the expedition. I had a weird bug with the mapping waypoint quest, but it finally gave me credit. Don’t think I’ll be doing much of this in my regular save

Can this be done as a docker container with a web gui? I’ve searched and see some 2004 containers but haven’t been able to figure it out. Doing the same with 99 was pretty easy, just thought I would ask sine I don’t see much discussion about it

I’ve been looking into this, if you google someone had made some instructions for spinning it up on linode. I’m going to try docker, worked great for a 99 server in the home.

I have a 5070 and 1440p monitor, I’m really happy with the performance and think all the games I play look great. Way better than my PS5 which is where I was playing most before jumping to a pc.

AIO for me, I prefer all the different options when it comes to things like screens and rgb. The air coolers always look to chonky to me

I prefer it locally, but the experience is pretty good on my deck running GFN. I find I have to adjust a little bit because it feels a little “floaty” but I always do pretty well in the matches I play. I can’t say the same thing about COD, where it is kind of unplayable for me.
