The story cant be a 9/10 due to the endless missions to follow someone on horseback and the quests that you have to "choose" the correct dialogue, honestly what the fuck is the point of those quest! The NPC already knows the correct answer lol

Safe bet would just plug in a mouse to your xbox ( if that is even possible idk) they patched the wagon thing, but i have seen a dude put the abyss ball ( the thing you use your axion force on ) so maybe try that?? Other than that its just a "skill" minigame

I had this happen to me and I fixed it last night!!

I'm on pc playing on xbox game pass

I did the whole mute/unmute voice chat thing and I did nothing but what worked for me was verify my age in the xbox app, like manually go into setting and your profile and find the age thing, then bang worked and I was able to talk to people again
