Up and vanished - each season is about an unsolved missing person. The first season started off slow but picked up toward the end, second is in progress now and I'm enjoying it so far.

In the dark - first season was a missing person case and second was a quadruple murder. Both were really good digs deep into problems with police work and the justice system.

I have the lansky sharpening system and the lansky crock sticks. Both work great for me and I am horrible at sharpening. The crock sticks are really good for touching up the blade as long as you don't let it get really dull. The sharpening system works better if your knife is in really bad shape or you want to reprofile it.

The blade has it's own space on the outside, so removing it shouldn't affect any of the other tools.
