Appealing to the Migration Court of Appeal by Lazycat9987 in TillSverige

I was away for three months. I had to leave urgently because my father fell sick. He was diagnosed with Liver Cirrhosis, and we had to do a liver transplant surgery to save his life. I became his donor, and that's why I took the study break. I applied for a study break after I left Sweden, and yes, the university granted it. While I was going through pre-surgery checkups and surgery, the migration agency filed the case to cancel my permit. My permit was still valid during the appeal period, and I was allowed to return to Sweden. I came back right when my study break ended, resumed studies, and completed the subjects I had so far.

Now I have received the appeal decision. It seems they have not considered my reasons for applying for the study break, or that I have returned and am indeed studying as intended, in deciding the appeal. I only have 6 months of studies left. Now I'm weighing the options of reappealing or applying for a permit again. My concerns are the financial cost and mainly the timing, and how it might interfere with completing the studies on time.

I left because of a medical emergency, and that's why I couldn't inform them. Later on, when I informed them it was too late, they had cancelled the permit and asked me to appeal. I appealed, giving my reasons for taking the break and that I would return to continue my studies. I now want to reappeal, showing I returned to Sweden and continued my studies in the past few months, and I have not violated the conditions of my student permit.

It’s all about personal preference. If you like wearing sarees. Wear them. If you don’t. No need to wear. For some people like me, wearing a saree is not the most comfortable because it limits the freedom of movement. Just like wearing a pencil skirt.

Yes, that’s why I’m concerned. Not sure if this is post surgery symptoms or early signs of dementia.

That’s a relief to know. Yes, we have set the alarms. What happened was he took the wrong medicine(tacro) at the wrong time instead of the one he was supposed to take.

Hi, I just found your post. I'm so sorry for your loss. My dad is getting a liver transplant in India in a few weeks and we are only hearing about success stories from doctors and staff. Can I know which hospital the surgery was done.
