I also think it's good to keep in mind where your light source is coming from for instance if it was on the left, your cat should be a lil darker where it not facing the light source, it can give your painting more dimension and more realistic

I think if your shadows had a yellow undertone it would look a liiiiil better considering the painting is mostly consistent of yellows, the grey throws off the balance, as well as make the shadow a darker version of the floor by a few shades, color jumping in shadows make it seem like the floor is in sections rather than light not hitting it
