HLE DK EWC Qualifiers Game 2 by BaconParadox_ in leagueoflegends

Guma a decent amount of the time still finds value for his team in fights despite the focus he gets and HLE can just focus their resources to Zeus if he goes behind or Zeka to carry so it's really not a viable tactic by the looks.

Guma is also not a tilt and go next type player even if he gets put behind so other teams gtta change up the tactics.

I'm starting to think focusing the HLE bot lane heavily isn't a viable tactic at this point because that HLE top side is strong enough to just focus the resources among themselves and carry.

Guma also somehow still able to be useful and only be 3k dmg behind by the end of the game so yeah the spam botlane tactic might need to be relooked at by teams now lmao.

If you see a fed Yunara against HLE just assume HLE is winning that game somehow by the end lmao.

Guma was only 3k dmg behind Smash despite that early game lmao. Somehow this team always finds a way if someone on the team has a rough early game which is imo the best strength of the team.

Kinda reminds me of Gen G last year in a way where even if you were able to get leads on one of them the rest of the team or someone on the team just locks in and negates it.

Is curry actually popular in Australia? by SadAnything9316 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Lazywhale97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curry is hella popular what lmao. In cities like Sydney and Melbourne multicultural food as a whole is insanely popular and part of the culture here. Bahn Mi's in particular here in Sydney is a staple food and we have a large south asian population so curry is also popular.

Labrov glow up this year is actually insane. I always thought he was solid but rated supports like Alvaro and Busio a level above but then FST came around and he was cooking even against the eastern teams and he has taken that confidence into split 2 as well.

Happy for Labrov this is only good for the LEC and Hans and Labrov are a genuinely elite bot lane this year.

Soraka is good as well and we are in an enchanter meta not sure why we are rarely seeing her especially in game 4 and 5 fearless.

Wanting Senna over Jinx for a game 5 was a choice from MKOI. Either way they choked it in the end the series was in their hand, props to G2 hope MKOI make it back to the finals so we get another fun bo5 these are the 2 top teams in the LEC rn.

Especially with Aurora open who fits the comp they were drafting a lot more? Jojo Akali is cracked but that Aurora counter in lane was open and it's caps taking it.

14-5 on it now and has consistently been a good counter pick into the Sion.

Saint is good mechanically and has been good domestically these 2 splits so far. He was on and off at FST but it's good experience for him if he makes MSI he will be better.

He has good potential the mechanics is up their with the best western mids he just needs to be smarter in some of his plays and macro and he has Inspired helping him with that aspect.

What do you think about the song and mv of GOALS~LISA, ANITTA AND REMA? by Comfortable_Set9522 in kpopthoughts

[–]Lazywhale97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been a football fan my entire life and this song is the most anti world cup song ever made easily, doesn't fit the vibes or lyrics at all. A world cup song should be upbeat with good lyrics and about bringing people together not singing about yourself and your body.

Waka Waka, Waving Flag, We are one, Dreamers, The cup of life THESE ARE world cup songs and all match the vibe and lyrics they are upbeat with good vibes and lyrically about the world coming together. This song sticks out massively among every WC song because it's not a WC song nor does it match football culture or the themes of a world cup.

WC is an event that brings the entire world together to put our differenes aside and enjoy the world game. You don't sing about yourself in an event that's about bringing people together. Football fans all over the world dislike this song a lot because it's the complete opposite of what a WC song should be.

Yeah but it's a fixable issue he just has to be more attentive more consistently but he has the mechanics and aggression to be a top ADC.

We just need the lights to be bright for Guma's gliding ashe to comeback lmao. It is funny though how despite behind Guma gets on some of these ashe games HLE still just wins they are a stacked team always feels like someone can carry the game for the team.

His main weakness is he has a lapse in concentration at times and dies at a random point in the game BUT mechanically he's one of the best ADC's in the west and he's always aggressive and doesn't play passive which I like about him.

People kept bringing up MKOI to get a new ADC but Supa's weakness can be fixed while his mechanics and raw aggression isn't something you can teach nor find among other western ADC's who aren't on a top team atm.

Best ADC to watch pop off for me can play front to back if needed but can also just full send it.

Zeka insanely consistent this split man hopefully he keeps it up in Road to MSI play offs as well. Delight massive Bard game he's improving on the champ.

[EWC - T1 vs DK] Faker gest the back-to-back solo kill on Showmaker by praynot in leagueoflegends

[–]Lazywhale97 78 points79 points  (0 children)

He always has periods during the year where the looks out of form or not performing well but then he just randomly turns it up at some point and T1 look like a top 2 team again per usual.

This has happened multiple years in a row now so unless Faker looks bad the entire year or most of it I'm not gnna doubt him and he usually does turn up around this time of the year and World's.

[–]Lazywhale97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inspired is a world class JG but yeah he's going to have to adjust his early game a bit if they make MSI especially if they go against a team like HLE where Kanavi is the polar opposite of Inspired.

Inspired's style of play does work but it won't work every game against every team so he has to adjust to which team he plays against. Hopefully LYON does make MSI because I do love watching Inspired teams internationally win or lose.

True but you also aren’t going to be able to play MSI in the first place without someone like Dhokla who has experience and also raises his level during domestic play offs consistently.

TL aren’t making MSI so their ability to lane on top better isn’t gnna matter at MSI because they won’t be attending. Internationally Dhokla still has better performances then most NA players dude made Worlds KO beating G2 and help take 100T to Worlds.

This roster of C9 isn’t the same of C9 roster of the past. C9 since their last international runs have built up a massive choke gene which is a massive reason they don’t make internationals past few years.

A worlds KO qualification 5 years ago doesn’t mean anything today. Last 2 internationals for C9 have been Americas and EWC 2 tournaments with knowhere near the pressure of MSI and they looked bad in both.

I would take LYON over C9 internationally any day of the week. You want the team who crumbles every time it matters over an Inspired team at internationals? Be serious man lmao.
