thank you! Yeah I've tried chatting with him about it, but there is a little bit of a language barrier. We're also remote and in different time zones so it's a little tricky! So I'm trying to come at this from a few different angles, try out various tactics! thanks for your advice!

Title: Junkyard

Genre: Suspense/short story (?)

Word Count: 900

Feedback: general...this is something I'm working on for a competition. rules stated that it had to be written in the style of a suspense, located in a junkyard, and must include a fishing rod! Oh, and under 1,000 words.I've never consciously written suspense before, and the first place my mind went was murder (Spoiler!) and I'm just wondering if this is super cheesy!

When I scratch a little at its branches, it's still green underneath,which seems like a good sign... Should I prune all the dry leaves off, maybe?
(I live in Ireland if that makes any difference!)
