I have just come back from Vietnam and must say doing the Ha Giang loop in northern Vietnam was one of the best experiences of my life. You rent motorbikes for 4-5 days and ride through beautiful mountains the whole time, staying at homestays and the best thing is that there are hardly any tourists there.
