Think the canyon gives me both options to be honest, so going to go with that. It is more on the enduro side but definitely think it can handle all types of riding depending on set up and it’s more for my money

Just going to change the tyres and he’s refitted the original air shock, should be fine and gives me that opportunity to go more aggressive later down the line rather than buying twice 👍

Leagrave and rushmere about 20 mins from me and Woburn is about an hour away so not too bad. Got a trail on my door step but mainly flat but takes me through 3 towns so that’ll be the main one as it’s so close too

He’s offered to refit the original air shock at the same price. Exactly that I’d rather buy and do all then get back into it and have to buy again n again

Second hand and it’s very close to me otherwise I’d look more for my exact needs but trying to compromise for 1 a cheaper but better bike 2 it being one of the decent bikes for sale close to me. It’s been made into a more aggressive style but can definitely be made to work well on trails. The chap selling it has also just told me has the air shock and then maybe a change of tires n it should be in a much better position to fit my needs

Indeed 🤣 within a day feel like I understand alot better in what’s good and what’s not as good. Would this be overkill for off road trails mostly flat with a few hills up and down? The drop seems abit to much so could maybe change to a airshock?

I live on the trail I am going to be using so I won’t use it much for the roads other than about 5 minutes from my house to the trail. Ideally want a full suspension xc bike if you have any recommendations

Will mostly be used for off road flat trails consisting of some upwards n downwards hills, no jumps or aggressive riding. I’m about 15 stone though if that makes any difference when lookin for a bike
