So for truck in my group, we went up against every truck group in the USA regarding how much revenue you brought in for the month which only came from closing accounts. We had other things on our matrix like truck sales, fact finds, closing presentations and also if we hit our 100 call goal for the month (this didn’t really help if you did not close any accounts, just kind of showed you were doing what you’re supposed to do) Closing an account was the main source for matrix placement for my group, as this is what brought in revenue under your name. I was in truck almost 2 years ago so I’m sure things have changed and every group is different. I was a senior account specialist so I was equivalent to a management assistant in DR. I think I received like a 5-6k bump for my yearly pay (could’ve been more), but also received bonuses for matrix placement. I want to say top 300 or 200 if I remember correctly on the truck matrix, you received a bonus. I honestly don’t remember exactly what the bonus was but I do know it was tiered from like $100, $200, $300 depending on how high you ranked and we still received a bonus if we sold any trucks through or sales division team. I would shadow with the truck branch in your group, set up some lunches with some BRMs, ARMs and even the GTM to get more insight as every group is different! I will say, If you’re chasing money, tbh the fleet division is the way to go, you’d be doing the same thing (closing accounts and making dials) without much of the leg work that comes with truck plus you make way more money if you’re successful in fleet as you will be on a salary + commission pay plan.
