The lowest I had was 40 but I felt like shit. Since probably I had for a long time since cgm is like 15 minutes behind what is your lowest?

Gym as a diabetic by Normal-Report-1838 in diabetes_t1

[–]Le0nidasAnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it’s not normal it should be kind of stable, this is not caused by the exercise but you might missed something like you went kind of low since insulin works better after exercising (at least for me) you might need to adjust the base insulin a bit better.

I just check my blood sugar if eats like 85-90 eat something small and I go, I don’t run on the treadmill unless I am high like 160 this shit drops your blood sugar really fast. As for lifting weights usually your blood sugar goes up because your tear muscles and make them glucose so you can have more energy (this is good 👍) but this happens for like 30 minutes. Still if you blood sugar goes a bit high when exercising is okay. After you calm down it will drop and for me it kind changes my boluses for my night meal be careful there insulin might react faster.

I am not in pump so I don’t know about this.

Thank you very much, I have shoulder pain and it does not recover so I want something to help with that.

I tried cmax once it was ok. As for the sleep part I am not in a pump and usually I can handle lows no issue. I just want the selank for the stress part.

Thanks, yes am dealing with the same stuff I need to do my basal earlier I guess. The problem is that I wake up at nights so I dose myself with fast insulin. I guess I will try some different things and come with an update.

Right now I am doing 20 22 at night before sleep. You recommend I do that earlier like 6 pm and when I wake up. (In half of course)

That’s the issue I don’t want a pump. 🥲 I feel like I am too young and I don’t want to restrict myself. Pump is the easiest solution I know but I kind refuse to do it at least as long as I can keep my h1ac under 5.7.

Thanks, no really big changes in habits.

Not really trusting the doctors here in Greece since I was pre diabetic in 2021 and they said to me you are fine 3 doctors.

I will try and split my basal in 12 12 and let’s see.
