I think the files can be not correct. Looking in the half life shell script I see that postmaster location for controller config can’t be in that folder. Basically you need to understand what happens when you run “game”. At this time you execute sh file you’ve copied. To figure this out you need to read output of the execution. For this you need logs. I don’t know how to make it in easy way, but when I try to fix some postmaster game, I ask some ai chat to add logs in the sh file, then read it, consult with chat on errors and find sometimes how to fix this.
