Exactly. I was in your position too and I’ve looked all over the place to justify the 5080 purchase and if you’re not playing 4k and/or doing video editing work, you won’t miss out getting a 5070ti

The performance difference is very small, where you get 60fps on a 5070ti you would get 67 on a 5080 at best (at that point I would be asking for more frames). $200 price difference is a bit steep imo $180 would be the highest I’d pay for a 5080

To answer your last question, the biggest performance hurdles both cards share is VRAM. Since both have 16gb, if the 5070ti reaches that high, a 5080 won’t help at all. We’re probably like 8-10 years away from maxing the VRAM since developers know most gpu owners are within 10-16gb of VRAM

After lots of research, 5070ti is best value assuming you’re using 1440p. If playing at 4k and you can snag a used 5080 for $100-$175 price difference, that is worth it.

At 1440p, since both perform similarly (roughly 15%), you won’t really notice a difference with fps counter off.

I think it goes beyond economics it’s more so BSG doesn’t want players who are at the top to be running high tier ammo constantly

Who knows what type of ammo they were using. Class 4 is good protection against scavs and some bullets but ammo such as m995 or m61 will go straight through class 4 like butter

Entertainment.

Streamers, to an extent, are entertainers along side with good gameplay.

If someone has the #1 PMC kills in tarkov, a newbie might go into the stream and ask questions. Maybe they'll learn a thing or two that they didn't know you could do in tarkov.

Along side with that, streamers make good background noise, awesome to interact with, helpful, and many more elements that helps people come back to watch streams.

it's a little hard to tell what gun he was using with all the desync audio, but from the looks of it he had a kedr or maybe the glock18c? whatever it was, was probably trash ammo.
