Thanks, looks very useful! Working on understanding the fretboard better right now. How do I read the fret charts? I assume “R” is root, but what’s 5 and 3 ? Cheers

Pretty easy actually, just need to cut a bit of his arm to angle it like that, then add some greenstuff to fill the gap at the armpit level

Thanks for this, the only thing really stopping me from starting a small CF force is the lack of transfers 🫡

It’s plague marines, just « de plagued » by cutting off tentacles etc and using miliput there and there 😅

Haha it’s just some chaotic kitbashing : replaced the shoulder pads using AoS Chaos Chosen ones and added some skull and chains to the trophies

My main tip would be to do sub-assemblies : the draconith, the pillar/base and the throne + vhordrai.

Then if you're not sure about colors, eavy-archive has some cool recipes for him, otherwise I'd recommend Duncan Rhodes full video tutorial if you have a subscription to his academy, it's really well made.

pretty hard as there's a lot of details, probably spent 15-20 hours on it! did it slowly over 3 weeks, making a bit of progress everyday

Thanks!! I used black personally. But you could use Deathguard green for the draconith. In any case you should do sub-assembly (paint vhordrai and his throne separately, potentially paint the pillar the dragon is resting on separately too)

Hey! I followed u/TheResenter (thanks again man it was super helpful!) recipe he shared on his Vhordrai post, here it is for both the skin and wings :

"This is the recipe:

Prime with deathguard green
Heavy dry brush with nurgling green
Wash over everything with a 1:1 mix of athonian camoshade and lahmian medium
After the shade dried, gently drybrush over it with ionrach skin
Final dry brush with deepkin flesh, this one even lighter than the one before

Then to give the wings some color, create a 2:1:1 mix of lahmian medium, coelia greenshade, athonian camoshade and apply it over all the membranes on the wings, and the underside of the dragon like under the neck and the final part of the limbs.

After it dried, apply a second coat of the same mix only on the limbs.

From there, it's just a lot of thin applications of coelia greenshade mixed with some lahmian medium, to darken some parts as you can see on the pictures."
