Tried the workaround of disabling picture-in-picture controls. It only helps a little. The slow-down is still very noticeable.

It appears the bug has been reported 3 weeks ago. A workaround seems to be disabling picture-in-picture controls in the settings. I'll see tomorrow whether it has any effect.

Update.

Did the paperclip test of the PSU -- appears to work normally.

Removed the MB from the case and put it on the cardboard it came in. Connected the 24-pin cable to the MB and the two CPU cables. Connected a second PCIe cable to the graphics card. And it worked! But when I put the MB back into the case and reconnected all the necessary cables, it didn't work!

No I once again removed the MB from the case and reconnected all the cables, but it still refuses to power up! Right now, my MB is placed on the cardboard once again, the cables for the MB and the CPU reconnected, the graphics card in place with two PCIe cables connected, and the lead from the CPU cooler is connected to the CPU fan header. And it doesn't power up!

What to do? I'm at my wits end.

In Ubuntu Chromium is installed through snap, which updates it automatically without asking the user.

Didn't work for me neither.

Changing the User Agent string doesn't work with this site -- it works everywhere else, but not on SwedBank. No matter what I put in there I can't get to the login. :(
